My dad wasn't over...Thank you for posting this. My dad wasn't overweight a day in his life. He never had much of an appetite, assiduously avoided fat and lectured about "starches." He spent so much time scraping butter off his toast that you could barely tell there was any left. Yet he suffered from high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, and, yes, sleep apnea. It wasn't until he was in his 60's that people became aware of sleep apnea, although throughout his adult life, my mom always said he would stop breathing during his sleep.
